Coyote Moon has been haunting me for a long time and I have played it live many times. This golden October inspired me to finally record and release a very intimate acoustic version with just voice, guitar, and upright bass. I wanted the recording to have a warm tone, synonymous with the golden hues of autumn and the song's first lines: "Summer's finally over, Autumn's in the air..."
